2026 NC Association of Municipal Attorney's Summer Conference

July 30 - August 2 | Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront

We are excited to invite you to the 2026 NC Association of Municipal Attorney's (NCAMA) Summer Conference that will take place at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront in scenic and historic downtown Wilmington, North Carolina.

Letter from the President

Dear NC Association of Municipal Attorneys Members:

Welcome to our 2026 Summer Conference!

I’m delighted you’re here. Each year, this gathering gives us a chance to learn a lot, laugh a lot, and reconnect with the wonderful community that makes practicing municipal law both unpredictable and incredibly rewarding. Whether you're catching up with long-time colleagues or meeting someone new over coffee, I hope you find moments that inspire you, encourage you, and remind you why our work matters.

If you’re a newer member or joining us for the first time - welcome! Please jump right in. Say hello. Introduce yourself. This group is full of people who “get it” - the curveballs, the challenges, and the quiet victories that come with serving our cities and towns. I encourage everyone to take part, get involved, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes our Association so special.

As always, our Nominating Committee will meet before the conference to prepare recommendations for our next slate of officers and directors. We’ll vote on the slate during Saturday’s business meeting. If you’re interested in being considered for a board position, I’d love to hear from you. You can reach me at Kimberly.Rehberg@durhamnc.gov

Thank you for being here and for the work you do every day. I’m looking forward to a great conference together. See you soon!

With appreciation,

Kim Rehberg

NCAMA President
City Attorney, City of Durham
